My journey with Shibari began in 2018 as a bunny at Urban Fetish. In that moment, a part, a place inside me died and was replaced with a space that felt tight, still, and safe—where I found my love for rope bondage. Fascinated by the sensation of rope and the feelings it evoked, I started learning to tie, wanting to gift others the experience I enjoyed. I observed other riggers and learned locally from multiple sources, including Namakai (Red Rigger) and Evil Girls. My goal was to reach a point where I could teach myself and satisfy my inner student.
Since 2021, I’ve had the privilege to share my passion through performances at Revoltfest, Kinbaku Dreams, Basket of Hammers, Cult, and BRLN. In August 2022, I founded The Rope Social and began teaching classes.
To me, Shibari is an open-source practice where I’m always eager to learn and share to add more flavor to our communal experience. My play varies from sensual floor work to intense suspension, always prioritizing consent and safety. Rope, for me, is sadistic, sensual, and sexual.
When I perform, it’s never about the crowd’s approval—it’s about showing the essence of rope play to an audience.
