The Rope Social has grown far beyond what I ever imagined when it first began. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve reached a huge milestone. As of 1 October 2025, Tether Salon officially became the permanent home of The Rope Social.

After months of planning, building, painting, and creating a space designed specifically for rope, education, performances, and community, we were excited to open our doors on 14 December 2025. Having a dedicated venue has allowed us to expand our classes, host larger social events, welcome international educators, and create a safer, more consistent home for Brisbane’s rope community.
